Gentex Light Vehicle Intercom System (LVIS)
The LVIS system provides crisp, clear, full duplex intercommunications among crewmembers. The basic system accommodates up to four crewmembers, and multiple systems can be interconnected to provide additional crewmember capacity. LVIS is compatible with most military and commercial radios. Radio transmit levels, receive levels and PTT keying schemes can be adjusted during installation. Radio access can also be configured separately for each crewmember to enable or disable transmit and receive capabilities over a connected radio system. Gentex offers a variety of helmet and headset styles to suit most field requirements including: impact protection, ballistic protection, hearing protection (with and without Active Noise Reduction) and talk-through circuits.
